In March 2012, Master Sergeant Menusa reported to Marine Aviation Training Support Group 22 in Corpus Christi, TX to serve as the Operations Chief and Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Commanding Officer. In January 2011, Gunnery Sergeant Menusa reported to 2nd Battalion, 1st Marines, where he served as the Company Gunnery Sergeant and as Company 1st Sergeant for Headquarters Company. In July 2007, Gunnery Sergeant Menusa reported to Infantry Training Battalion, SOI-West, where he served as Combat Instructor, Company Gunnery Sergeant, and 1st Sergeant for Bravo Company and Charlie Company. During this tour, he participated in one combat tour and a UDP deployment. ![]() In October 2005, Staff Sergeant Menusa reported to 1st Battalion, 5th Marines, where he served as Platoon Sergeant and Platoon Commander for Bravo Company. In February 2002, Sergeant Menusa attend Drill Instructor School and later reported to India Company, 3rd Battalion for Drill Instructor duty. In February 1999, Sergeant Menusa reported to Infantry Training Battalion, SOI-East where he served as an Instructor for Charlie Company. During his tour with 3/5, he was promoted to the rank of Sergeant and participated in two Unit Deployment Program (UDP) deployments to Okinawa, Japan with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU). He reported to 3rd Battalion, 5th Marines, Camp Pendleton, CA, where he served as Team Leader and Squad Leader in India Company. He underwent recruit training at MCRD San Diego, CA in April 1995 and completed Infantry Training at School of Infantry (SOI) - West, Camp Pendleton, CA for MOS training as a Rifleman.
